In the afternoon BAFUF emergency meeting, who is the new general secretary?
The emergency meeting of the executive committee of Bangladesh Football Federation was last Friday (April 14). The women's franchise league was on the agenda of the emergency meeting. But the meeting was canceled after the banning of FIFA Secretary Abu Naeem Sohag from world football's governing body FIFA. Since then, the situation in Buffe Bhavan has been stagnant.
Meanwhile, the Football Federation has an executive committee meeting this afternoon (Monday) on the situation that has arisen. It is known that the acting general secretary will be nominated in the meeting of the executive committee this afternoon. Apart from this, a decision may also be taken to form an inquiry committee on the related issues in Sohag's ban report.
BAFF is now without a general secretary. The important and powerful general secretary is after the president of Buffet. Because of that, Buffett needs to find someone new for the position soon. Sohag is now past.
On Saturday (April 15), Sohag's nameplate was removed from Buffe Bhavan. Soon there will be a new nameplate. Rumors are rife as to who that person is.
Earlier, BAUF President Kazi Salauddin called on some top executives (salaried) of the federation yesterday (Sunday) afternoon. Sohag was accompanied by executives and others who went to Zurich. He discussed various issues of the 51-page report banning Sohag with the executives. After reading this report, he saw the carelessness of the Bafuf executives. FIFA took the executive's view on the report and his observation of Sohag's ban.
If selected from the officials working in Buffe, the biggest contender for the post of general secretary is Jaber bin Taher Ansari, head of the competition department. However, his personal assistant Imran Hossain is on the president's preferred list. Apart from this, there are rumors of several interested candidates. However, the decision will be taken by President Kazi Salauddin. However, Kazi Salahuddin surely understands how difficult it is for the management of BAFF without the post of general secretary.
