Formation of 5 member investigation committee in Bangabazar fire incident
Directorate of Fire Service and Civil Defense has formed a 5-member investigation committee to investigate the cause of the terrible fire in Bangabazar Market of the capital.
Fire Service Headquarters Director (Operation and Maintenance) Lieut. Colonel Mohammad Tajul Islam Chowdhury has been formed as the chairman of the investigation committee.
Officer-in-Charge of Fire Service Headquarters (Media Cell) Md. Shahjahan Shikder said that the remaining four members of the investigation committee are Dinmoni Sharma, Deputy Director of Dhaka Division of Fire Service, Senior Station Officer of Siddique Bazar Fire Station. Shaheen Alam, Warehouse Inspector Adhir Chandra and Deputy Assistant Director of Dhaka Zone-1 of Fire Service. Bazlur's receipt.
The inquiry committee has been given 7 working days to submit the inquiry report.
