Gulshan spa center raid, young woman jumps to death
A young woman died and another was seriously injured after she jumped from the roof during a city corporation raid at a spa center in the capital's Gulshan.
This incident happened on Wednesday (January 11) around 2 pm. After falling from the roof, both of them were seriously injured and brought to Dhaka Medical College (Dhamek) Hospital in a city corporation car.
The name of the deceased girl is Farzana (19). The identity of the injured girl is yet to be found. The doctor on duty declared Farzana dead. Another seriously injured person is being treated in the emergency department.
The deceased Farzana's house is said to be in Batiaghata area of Khulna district.

Farzana's husband Zahid Hasan told Dhaka Post that our house is in Khilkhet area. My wife works in a beauty parlor in Gulshan. He got scared and jumped from the roof when he heard that there was a mobile court operation going on.
When asked in which parlor your wife used to work, he said, today is the first time she went to work, I don't know about it.

When asked about this, Gulshan police station sub-inspector (SI) Alamgir Hossain told Dhaka Post, as far as we know, a city corporation operation was going on in a spa center. We received the news and rescued the two injured women and brought them to Dhaka Medical.
