Four members of 'Takshak' trafficking gang arrested in Faridpur: DB

On Tuesday (January 24) in the morning, the officer-in-charge of the district intelligence police confirmed the arrest of the four members of the Takshak Pachar gang.

Earlier on Monday (January 23) around 11 o'clock at night, when the four members were arrested from a homestead in Madhya Alipur of the district town, the police were disciplined from that homestead.
The arrested are Al Mamun Matubbar (40) son of Rashid Matubbar (40) of Mirakanda Gangadardi area of Bhanga upazila, Matiyar Rahman (45) son of Abdur Razzak of Dharmadi village of Saim upazila, Tajia Akhtar (42) and Kushtia, wife of Abdur Rob Sharif of Madhya Alipur area of Faridpur district. Nasir Uddin (40) is the son of Azizul Haque of Abdalpur area of the district.

District Intelligence Police OC Mamunur Rashid said that through confidential news, we came to know that some fraudsters are buying and selling Takshaks in a homestead in Madhya Alipur of the district city.
Based on such news, DB Police 1 team raided the house and arrested four members of Takshak Pachar Gang. At the same time a 15 inch long taksha is made from that house. The official of the detective police said that legal arrangements are under process in this regard.
