The fire at Barisal Plaza in Bangabazar is under control
Within a week there was another fire incident in Bangabazar area. Barisal Plaza is on fire now.
The Fire Service Control Room reported that the fire was reported at 8:05 am on Saturday (April 8). Russel Farooq, who is in charge of the control room, said that 14 units of the fire service are working to control the fire on the spot.
The fire on the 4th floor of Barisal Plaza Market near Bangabazar in the capital is under control. 14 units of fire service tried to bring the fire under control. No casualties were reported in the fire.
Last Tuesday (April 4), 5 markets near Bangabazar were completely burnt. More than 5000 shops were burnt in the fire. As the flames of the fire did not stop, the market on the west side of Banga Bazar again caught fire. The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
Before this, last Tuesday (April 4) at 6:10 in the morning, a terrible fire occurred in Bangabazar of the capital. On receiving the information, 48 units joined the fire control one by one.
Army, Navy and Air Force teams also joined in the rescue and fire control. Due to everyone's efforts, the terrible fire in Bangabazar was immediately brought under control after about 6 and a half hours. And 75 hours after the fire was completely extinguished that is Friday (April 7) at 9 am.
Bangladesh Shop Owners Association President Helal Uddin has claimed that the loss of more than one and a half thousand crore rupees has been estimated in the Bangbazar fire incident.
No one died in the fire incident. However, 3 members of the fire service were injured in the attack by the excited crowd during the fire. Apart from this, a total of 12 people of fire service were injured due to fire smoke and other incidents.
