Dhaka flight went to Yangon-Kolkata-Chittagong due to dense fog
Due to dense fog, several flights could not land at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Sunday night. Flights were also suspended for several hours.
Due to dense fog, several flights could not land at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Sunday night. Flights were also suspended for several hours.
After circling the skies of Dhaka for a long time, the Qatar Airways flight from Doha landed in Kolkata and the Air Asia flight from Malaysia landed at Myanmar's Yangon airport.

According to airport sources, for the same reason, the US-Bangla Airlines flight from Doha landed in Kolkata and the flight from Sharjah landed in Chittagong.
Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Executive Director Group Captain Md. Kamrul Islam told Dhaka Post that the flights have been diverted to other airports due to the low visibility of the runway. Besides, flights of US-Bangla Airlines, Fly Dubai, Oman Air, Air Arabia and Gulf Air were delayed.
