Bangladesh's democracy will not run in the form of foreigners: Kader
Obaidul Quader said that there is no obstacle for foreigners to come to observe the elections in Bangladesh and said that democracy will not work in this country on anyone's orders.
Obaidul Quader said that there is no obstacle for foreigners to come to observe the elections in Bangladesh and said that democracy will not work in this country on anyone's orders. The general secretary of the party said these things at the distribution ceremony of winter clothes at the Awami League central office on Friday afternoon.
He said, "Democracy is not a bully in the face of those who steal the clothes of democracy. We want to institutionalize democracy under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. All the achievements of democracy in this country are ours. Our leader Sheikh Hasina was at the forefront of unchaining the shackled democracy after 75 years. Under his leadership, democracy has been unchained.

"We want to say that this democracy is a developing process, as time changes, we will try our best to develop democracy in the midst of hundreds of obstacles."
Commenting that BNP's 'complaint' to foreigners will not work, the general secretary of Awami League said, "Foreigners have not said anything about the caretaker. Because there is no guardian in their country. BNP's scheming politics in the name of caretaker for what is unnecessary in Bangladesh? In fact BNP will lose in achieving the progress of the state, they are disoriented today. Complaining to the expatriates, those foreigners also do not say anything in favor of BNP.
"Even when the US finally came, there was no meeting with them. Let them meet whomever they want. But we will run our democracy here. Bangladesh's democracy will not work in anyone's format. Sheikh Hasina welcomed as an observer how we elect, how we elect. Whether he comes from America, from Europe, from wherever the Sadh observer comes, there is no barrier here. There is no ban for anyone here.”
Claiming that Awami League is always a victim of conspiracies, he said, "We don't do conspiracies but we are victims of conspiracies. We don't believe in the politics of murder, but we are killed again and again. This is the reality of Bangladesh.”
Commenting that 'BNP does not have democracy at home', Quader said, "Whatever BNP says today - they do not have democracy at home. Mr. Fakhrul may not even remember when his conference was held. I became the general secretary of the conference three times, but BNP?

“From Dhaka to Trinamool, we have had thousands of conferences, from the head to ward units. But they have no elected representatives. They don't have that opportunity in their team, they don't have a conference of associates, they are giving the association sitting in the room.
"This party comes again to teach democracy to Awami League. Fakhrul Saheb should be ashamed. It was during their tenure that democracy suffered the most damage. During their tenure the farcical 15th February Magura Marca election, yes/no vote. Where the percentage of yes vote has been 114 percent. Ziaur Rahman's yes/no vote.”
Highlighting the irregularities in voting during BNP's tenure, he said, "Voting was over by 11 am." During their tenure, 1.23 million fake voters have been registered, which is one of the reasons for 111."
Obaidul Quader said that Awami League deputies should be limited to a maximum of 100 people in this winter clothing distribution event organized by the party's relief and social welfare sub-committee. He said to form deputy within a week.

He said, "In the formation of sub-committees, there is a problem of sitting if a very large committee is formed. It is much better to keep it in a hundred people. Maximum out of a hundred people, 91 or 101 would be to keep the maximum. Three to four hundred of our workers rotate to party work sites a year. So the sub-committee is calm. Where will they go, if they don't have an identity, where will they go."
Awami League's relief and social welfare secretary Md. Aminul Islam Amin, Body Affairs Secretary Rokeya Sultana, Central Member Golam Rabbani Chinu spoke.
