After two years, 'Amar Ekushey Book Fair-2023' is going to start on the first day of February. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the Amar Ekushey Book Fair at 3 pm on Wednesday (February 1) with the motto 'Read books, build the country, Bangabandhu's Bangladesh'. At this time, he will unveil seven new books.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the book fair at Bangla Academy premises on Wednesday (February 1) at 3 pm. In the inaugural function, the Prime Minister will unveil seven new books published by Bangla Academy and present the Bangla Academy Literary Award 2022.

Suhrawardy Udyan
- The book fair will be held in Bangla Academy and Suhrawardy Udyan on an area of about 1.5 lakh square feet. 901 stalls have been allotted to 601 institutions in the fair. There are 38 pavilions. The children's square is now placed just to the right of the entrance to the temple-gate.
- According to DMP, five levels of security have been strengthened around the opening ceremony and the book fair. More than 300 closed circuit cameras have been installed in the fair area.
At the inaugural function, the Prime Minister will unveil seven new books published by Bangla Academy and present the Bangla Academy Literary Award-2022. This time 15 geniuses are getting this award. After the inauguration, the Prime Minister will visit the book fair. Access will then be opened to the public.

- The book fair will be open daily from 1st February to 28th February (excluding holidays) from 3pm to 9pm. No one will be allowed to enter the fair premises after 8:30 pm. The holiday book fair will start at 11 am. On 21st February, the Great Martyr's Day and International Mother Language Day, the fair will start at 8 am and continue till 9 pm as usual.
