A fire broke out in a plastic factory in Soarighat

A fire broke out in a plastic factory in Sowarighat area of Old Dhaka. Fire service control room officer Rozina Akhter said that the fire started in that factory around 5:30 pm on Thursday.

The fire service received information about the fire at 4:46 pm on Thursday (February 9). Confirming the matter, Anwarul Islam Dolon, media cell officer of the fire service, said, "We received information about a fire in a plastic factory in front of the police box at Sowarighat at 4:46 in the afternoon. On receiving the information, our 4 units are working on the spot. The initial cause of the fire was not known. Apart from this, no casualties have been reported so far.

Shahjahan Sikder, officer-in-charge of media cell of fire service confirmed this.

Earlier on Thursday around 5 pm a fire broke out in the factory. After receiving information, four units of fire service worked to control the fire.
