This year's Fitra will be known on Sunday
How much Sadaqatul Fitr (Fitr) of 1444 Hijri will be known on Sunday (April 2). A meeting of the National Fitra Determination Committee will be held at Baitul Mukarram National Mosque at 11 o'clock on this day. Fitrah will be determined there.
Islamic Foundation Assistant Public Relations Officer Shayla Sharmin confirmed the matter on Saturday (April 1). The meeting will be attended by members of the National Fitra Determination Committee consisting of prominent muftis and scholars.
Last year, the national committee fixed the minimum rate of 75 taka per person and the maximum rate of 2 thousand 310 taka.
It is to be noted that it is wajib for Muslim men and women to pay Sadaqatul Fitr in the morning of Eid if they own nisab amount of goods. Fitra must be performed before going to the Eid prayer.
