The president has called on all concerned including the scout leaders to play an active role in turning the next generation into skilled human resources through scouting. Abdul Hamid. He made this call in a message yesterday on the occasion of Bangladesh Scouts Day.
The President congratulated the Councilors and Scout members of all levels of the country who participated in the 51st Annual General Meeting of Bangladesh Scouts. He extended his best wishes and congratulations to the recipients of Silver Tiger and Silver Hilsa Awards in 2021 in recognition of their unique contribution to the development and expansion of Bangladesh Scouts.
The President said, 'Scouting is an international, voluntary, non-political and educational movement. Scouting is a supplementary practical education system in addition to regular education. The main goal of scouting is to develop the youth of the country as self-reliant, well-mannered and ideal citizens by regular training and reflecting it in personal life according to the needs of the scouts. I hope the scout authority will be sincere to speed up the scouting activities in Bangladesh.
Abdul Hamid said, 'Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's cherished dream was that Bangladesh would be a happy, prosperous, exploitation-free golden Bengal. The government is working tirelessly to fulfill that dream. The government has set a target to transform the country into a developed and smart country by 2041.'
