Price hike won't last long: Education Minister
Minister of Education Dr. Dipu Moni said, while many countries in the world are struggling to import food, there is no shortage of food in Bangladesh. Due to the war situation, the price of goods in Bangladesh has gone up. But it's temporary, won't last long.
He said these things at the distribution ceremony of education scholarships among minority ethnic group students at Chandpur Sadar Upazila Auditorium on Friday (March 31).
The education minister said, "We don't want to go back. People don't want to see bombs and grenades in 500 places on the same day, people want to see bridges and roads being inaugurated in 500 places on the same day." Today, under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina, the poverty line has come down greatly across the country.
In the event, he distributed a check of Tk. 11 lakh 23 thousand 200 for education scholarship among 222 students from minority ethnic groups.
