Hiding as a model for 10 years, finally arrested
RAB-3 has arrested Fazilatunnesa alias Riya alias Suhasini alias Adhra (29), who was sentenced to life in the case of the brutal murder of Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Humayun Kabir (44) working at Shah Ali police station in the capital.
On Friday (February 24) at noon, RAB-3 commander Lt. Col. Arif Mohiuddin Ahmed said that Fazilatunnesa alias Riya was arrested from Merul Badda Subastu Tower in the capital.
According to RAB, Riya got involved in the film world as a model and actress since 2016. At one point, he changed his personal identity card name from Fazilatunnecha alias Riya to Suhasini alias Adhara.
He said that in 2013, Riya brutally killed ASI Humayun Kabir by pushing a poisonous injection after choking him in a building at 1050/3 Kanthala, East Manipur, Mirpur. Absconded for 10 years after that.

The captain of RAB-3 also said that Riya started working as a garment worker in Fatulla of Narayanganj after the killing of ASI Humayun. Later in 2015, after changing his name and identity and creating a fake SSC certificate, he came to Dhaka and took a job as a salesman of a multimedia company.
Since 2016, she has been involved in the film industry as a model and actress. At one point, he changed his personal identity card name from Fazilatunnecha alias Riya to Suhasini alias Adhara. Having established himself as a famous model in the film world under that name, Merul was living in secret in a house of Subastu Tower in Badda. The captain of RAB-3 also said that legal action will be taken against him.
During his arrest, 58 grams of ganja, two mobile phones and a fake SSC certificate made for identity change were seized from him.
