Going to Gopalganj on a 2-day trip on Thursday
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to Gopalganj today Thursday to inaugurate the 7-day long 11th National Rover Mutt.
Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina is going to Gopalganj on a two-day visit. Tomorrow Friday (February 24) he will stay in Tungipara. Next day Saturday (February 25) will address a public meeting in the field of Talimpur Telihati High School in Kotalipara.
According to Gopalganj district administration sources, he will inaugurate 42 development projects and lay the foundation stone of 6 projects during this visit.
On the occasion of his arrival, all preparations have been completed by the district administration. Several levels of security measures have been taken across the district. The stage for the Prime Minister's rally has been completed.
According to district administration sources, Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will visit Gopalganj on a two-day visit on February 24 and 25. On the first day of the visit, the Prime Minister will leave for Tungipara from Ganabhaban by road on Friday morning. On reaching Tungipara, he will pay respects at the tomb of the Father of the Nation, after paying respects, he will participate in a discussion meeting with the leaders and activists of the upazila and spend the night at his home in Tungipara that day.
On the second day of the visit, the Prime Minister will leave from Tungipara by road to Kotalipara at 11 am for a public meeting at Talimpur Telihati High School grounds. On reaching there, he will first address the public meeting. Later he will auspiciously inaugurate 42 projects of various departments and lay the foundation stones of 6 projects. He will leave for Dhaka by road from Gopalganj that afternoon.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of Prime Minister's arrival, all kinds of preparations have been completed by Awami League in Tungipara and Kotalipara. There is enthusiasm among the leaders and activists of Gopalganj district Awami League around this upcoming visit. Every road in the district, including the Dhaka Khulna highway, is covered with arches, banners and festoons.
