Eden's Chhatra League leader beat the student with a stump
The students of Shaheed Bangmata Sheikh Fazilatunnecha Mujib Hostel have written a petition to the Hall Superintendent seeking justice for the torture of Roksana Akhtar, vice-president of the Eden Women's College branch of the capital.
In this application made last Tuesday (February 21), the details of torture of the Chhatra League leader on the students have also been highlighted. Recently, Mahua Akhter, a third-year student of the political science department of the college, was accused of beating her with a stump for arguing over her seat in the room.
It is said in the application that Roksana Akhtar started torturing Mahua on the fifth floor on Tuesday evening. Hearing her screams, the students in the neighboring rooms gathered and found out that Roksana was beating Mahua.
For the past one year, such torture and torture has been going on. Mahua was beaten all over with a stump and her clothes and hair were torn for protesting on Tuesday. He is also proud to beat him with a stick. Every student on the 5th floor is a victim of Roxana's torture.
In this regard, Superintendent of Bangmata Student Residence Nazmun Nahar claimed that there was a fight between Roksana and Mahua last Tuesday. Later they solved the matter themselves. No student filed a complaint in this incident.
Chatra League leader Roksana Akter did not answer the phone when contacted to inquire about the complaint.
