525 top taxpayers including city corporations and 64 districts

525 people in city corporation and district have been selected as best tax payers after national level to encourage tax payment.

The National Board (NBR) has selected 77 people in 11 city corporations and 448 people as the best taxpayers in the category of highest income tax payers and long time income tax payers in 64 districts for the fiscal year 2021-2022. Out of this, two people from each city corporation and district have been selected as the longest serving and three people as the highest tax payers and one person has been selected as the best in women and youth category.

The Ministry of Finance has announced the names of the best according to the Act of 2008 on giving gratuity to the taxpayers who have been paying income tax for a long time and the highest district wise. On Saturday (December 24), NBR's public relations office informed this information.

Earlier, 141 individuals, institutions and organizations were selected as the best taxpayers by paying the highest tax in the tax year 2021-22. NBR published the list of 141 tax card recipients including 76 individuals, 53 companies and 12 others. Tax cards will be given to individuals and organizations paying maximum tax at the national level in a function organized at the Officers Club on December 28. Besides, the tax zones are said to give tax cards and awards to the district level taxpayers through the event.

According to the notification source of the Ministry of Finance, the names of 525 best taxpayers nominated at the city corporation and district level for the tax year 2021-22 have been published. Within this, 77 people in 11 city corporation areas will be given tax cards and honors as the best taxpayers. Tax cards are being issued to seven persons per city corporation. Cards will be issued to seven taxpayers in each city corporation area and seven taxpayers in each district as the highest taxpayers. This includes two long-time tax payers, three top tax payers, one top tax payer (female) and one young tax payer (below 40) in the 2021-22 tax year.

The notification describes the highest taxpayers including names, ETIN numbers, tax jurisdictions and their addresses.
