41 arrested in anti-narcotics operation in the capital
Various crime and intelligence departments of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police have arrested 41 people in anti-drug operations in different areas of the capital.
During the arrest, 2469 pieces of yaba, 59 kg of 100 grams of ganja, 3 grams of 452 pure heroin, 13 bottles of Phensidil, 50 narcotic injections and 20 liters of Desimad were seized from them.
The operation was carried out from Friday (March 31) to six in the morning on Saturday (April 1) in different police stations of the capital. 29 cases have been filed against the arrested under the Narcotics Control Act in the respective police stations.
