4 construction workers were electrocuted in the hospital
Four construction workers were seriously injured due to electrocution in Narsingdi.
The incident took place on Thursday (April 6) morning in the Shaplachatwar area of the city. Two of them are in critical condition.
The identity of the injured is yet to be known. They are residents of Raipura and Chapainawabganj areas of Narsingdi.
Locals said that while working on the roof of an under-construction building, four construction workers were electrocuted and two fell down when the rod connected with the nearby electric wire. Later, the locals rescued the injured and took them to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital, while three were admitted and one was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment.
The doctors of Sadar Hospital's emergency department said that the condition of two of the injured is critical.
