Army-Navy-Air Force to control Newmarket fire
Members of the army, navy and air force are working alongside the fire service and BGB (Border Guard of Bangladesh) to control the fire in the capital's Newmarket.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a press release confirmed the participation of members of the Army, Navy and Air Force.
According to ISPR, Bangladesh Army, Navy and Bangladesh Air Force's fire fighting support team joined the fire control in Newmarket of the capital.
It is also said that the Air Force helicopter is also ready.
The fire broke out at 5:40 am on Saturday (April 15). The fire service team reached the spot within 5:43 minutes and started working to control the fire.
So far 28 units of fire service are working to control the fire. 12 platoon BGB has joined with fire service.
