'Bangbazar market will be opened before Eid'

He said this to reporters after visiting the fire site in Bangabazar on Thursday (April 6) morning and exchanging views with the affected businessmen.

Salman F. Rahman said, traders have suffered a lot in this terrible fire. We are working to rehabilitate and compensate them. Many have called me to provide financial assistance to the affected traders. I have spoken to the businessmen about this matter.

He said, advised the businessmen to open a joint bank account, development, cash, rocket account for financial donations. All will be notified once the accounts are opened.

A terrible fire broke out in the capital's Bangabazar market on Tuesday morning. The fire was brought under control after a long effort by the fire service. Thousands of shops in Bangabazar were razed to the ground in this terrible fire.
