22 tourists from Canada and Norway visited Sundarbans

These 22 foreign tourists arrived at Mongla port on Wednesday (April 5) afternoon in the Indian luxury cruise ship MV Gangavilas. Later they went to see the Sixty Domed Mosque of Bagerhat. On Friday morning, he visited Karmjal in Sundarbans and visited various structures.

On Friday (April 7) morning, they went to the Karamjal tourist spot in the Sundarbans by boat from Pasur river. Hawladar Azad Kabir, the chief forest officer there, welcomed them. Later he showed foreign tourists around Karamjal.

From there they returned to Gangavilas around the same afternoon. 22 tourists from Norway and Canada visited the World Heritage Sundarbans. 

Tourists will leave Mongla for Narayanganj and Sonargaon after visiting some areas of Sundarbans including Karamjal Wild Animal Breeding Centre, Herbaria, said Taufiq Rahman, Chief Executive Officer of the tour operator Journey Plus. 

He said that the tourists will visit Narayanganj and Sonargaon on April 11 and return to their country from Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on April 12. The pleasure boat will go to India without passengers.

On April 1, Pramodtari Ganga Vilas entered Mongla port after passing through immigration at Angtihara naval check post in Koira, Khulna, carrying 19 Norwegians, one British and two Canadian tourists from Kolkata, India on April 1. 

Incidentally, this five-star Indian cruise arrived in Mongla with 28 people in the first phase on February 4 and 7 foreign tourists in the second phase on March 22.
