A statement from the Pentagon said that this package does not have the qualities of a battle tank demanded by Kiev. It includes 90 Stryker armored personnel carriers, 1 additional 59 Bradley infantry fighting vehicles, Avenger air defense systems and large and small munitions.
In addition to the 50 Bradleys previously promised on January 6, this package will provide Ukraine with 59 Bradley IFVs and 90 Stryker APCs and two brigades of armored capability. Many of the 3 billion packages announced last week included the initial 50 Bradleys.
