Two young Rohingya women were detained while trying to get their passports
Two young Rohingya women were caught trying to get their passports in Kurigram. Seeing them at the passport office counter is suspicious. When asked for their name and address, they were handed over to Sadar Thana Police, Deputy Assistant Director of Kurigram Regional Passport Office. Kabir Hossain. Later, when the police took them to Sadar police station and questioned them, they said they were Rohingyas.
The arrested are Khursida Akhter (19) of D-Block of Balukhali-1 of Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar. His father's name is Syed Ahmed and mother's name is Syeda Khatun. The other is Hasina Akhter Baby (18) of Block-9 of Camp No. 27. His father's name is Taib Ali and mother's name is Arfa Begum.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Sadar Thana Police said that legal action will be taken regarding the two arrested young women. Shahriar.

Deputy Assistant Director of Kurigram Regional Passport Office. Kabir Hossain said Hasina Akhtar is the son of Azizul Haque and Nurnessa Begum of Baparipara Balimari village of Sadar Union of Rajibpur Upazila of Kurigram and Khurshida Akhtar came with the birth certificate as the child of Faizar Sheikh and Rabeya Khatun of Char village of Dakshin Baunia of Nayarhat Union of Chilmari Upazila.
It seems they are Rohingya talking to them at this time. Later they were handed over to Kurigram Sadar police station. They came from Rohingya camp in Cox's Bazar and wanted to get passport using fake name and address to go to Saudi Arabia.
