The Ministry of Education has sent a proposal to the Prime Minister's Office to publish the results of the 2021 HSC-equivalent examination next week.

Recently, a meeting was held with Dhaka Education Board, Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education and Ministry of Education to take a plan to release the results. According to sources in the meeting, the Ministry of Education has proposed to publish the results of HSC within the 12th to 14th of this month (February).

This proposal has already been sent to the Prime Minister's office. It is said that if the prime minister fixes the time, it will be announced within the next day or two.

In this regard, Additional Secretary (Government Schools) of the Ministry of Education Syed Imamul Hossain told the media that a proposal has been sent seeking the Prime Minister's time to publish the results of the HSC and equivalent examinations. The proposal was sent late last week.

Note that last year the total number of candidates was 13 lakh 99 thousand 630. Among them 11 lakh 38 thousand 17 under 9 general education boards. Among them, 5 lakh 63 thousand 113 students and 5 lakh 74 thousand 904 female students.

There were 1 lakh 13 thousand 144 Alim candidates under Madrasa Board. Among them, 61 thousand 738 students and 51 thousand 406 female students.

Apart from this, there were 1 lakh 48 thousand 469 candidates for HSC (BM-Vocational) examination. There are 1 lakh 4 thousand 827 students and 43 thousand 642 female students.
