Stealing doctor's money-mobile using toy pistol, arrested 3
Deputy Assistant Community Medical Officer of Goland Upazila Health Complex of Rajbari. Abul Kalam Azad (40) was threatened with a toy pistol and robbed of cash and mobile phone.
The victim doctor filed a case against 3 people at Goalandghat Police Station on Monday (January 9) evening.
Later, the police arrested the three accused with the stolen toy pistol, two thousand rupees in cash and the stolen mobile phone. They are, Md. Haulikeutil area of the upazila. Gani Pola Md. Roni (23), Kumrakandi area. Salam's son. Rubel Fakir Sona (28), son of Chenaruddin Fakir of Imran (27) and Nashar Uddin Sardar Para area.

It is known that on Sunday (January 8) around 11:30 p.m. while on duty at Goland Police Station Health Complex, Sub-Assistant Community Medical Officer Md. Abul Kalam Azad was sitting in a room next to the Important Department. At this time, two people entered the room, brandishing pistols and handguns and took the cash and mobile phone from him. They barricade the room from outside. Later, when he screamed, others in the hospital came and rescued him.
Abul Kalam Azad said, 'I was serving in an important department from 2 pm on Sunday. After 11:30 pm, two unknown persons suddenly came and hit me on my hand and head with a pistol on my head and a sharp weapon on my stomach. They snatched 6000 rupees cash and mobile phone from my wallet. In this regard, the police arrested 3 people after filing a case in Goland Ghat upazila.

In this regard, Swapan Kumar Majumder, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Goaland Ghat Police Station said, "When a case was registered in this incident, we conducted raids at various places and arrested 3 people on suspicion of involvement." A handful of mobile phones, two thousand rupees in cash and a toy pistol used in robbery were recovered from them. Those arrested will be handed over to the court.
