Changes in Metrorail timetable
Bangladesh's first Metrorail MRT Line-6 schedule has been changed. From next 25th January (Wednesday), Metrorail will run from 8:30 am.
Managing Director of DMTCL MA N Siddique gave this information in the meeting room of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) at Old Elephant Road in the capital on Monday afternoon. Bangladesh's first Metrorail MRT Line-6 schedule has been changed. From next 25th January (Wednesday), Metrorail will run from 8:30 am.
He said that Pallavi station of metro rail will be opened from January 25. From that day, trains will run at three stations from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. However, the gate will be opened for passengers from 8 am to facilitate ticketing. Trains will run every ten minutes as before.

MAN Chiddik said, the work of MRT-1 line will be inaugurated in the last week of this month. The date will be finalized as per Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's convenience. It will be the first subway in the country.

DMTCL MD said that after the metro train was launched till January 8, 90,000 passengers were transported in 10 days and 88 lakhs were earned. This includes money from the sale of MRT passes.
