Hero Alam said, "Earlier I gave flowers to Bogra. I gave flowers for the first time in Dhaka. But the environment of giving flowers here is not like before. Hero Alam fought as an independent candidate in the Bogra-4 (Kahalu-Nandigram) and Bogra-6 (Sadar) constituencies. After a fierce competition, he was defeated by the Grand Alliance candidate Rezaul Karim Tansen in Bogra-4 (Kahalu-Nandigram) constituency by only 834 votes.
Commenting on being involved in politics, Hero Alam said, 'Now I am busy with politics. I want to work for the country. Since the people of the country have given love, I want to be by their side.
