Prime Minister will inaugurate 3 new railways today

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the country's three railways by connecting them virtually from Ganobhaban on Thursday (February 9). He will inaugurate the 69.20 km railway line constructed under the three projects of the railway.

Brahmanbaria

• According to railway sources, 32 km long railway from Kasba in Brahmanbaria district of Brahmanbaria district and from Shasidal in Comilla to Rajapur, 32 km long railway, simultaneously third and fourth dual gauge line in Dhaka Tongi section and dual gauge line in Tongi Joydevpur section under construction project of 11 in Tongi Joydevpur section. He will inaugurate the operation of trains on the kilometer double line and Rooppur railway station in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna and the newly constructed and renovated 26.50 kilometer railway line.

In Dhaka-Tongi section, third and fourth dual gauge line 33.48 km route including loop line of 116 km railway is being constructed. The cost of this project has been estimated at 11 thousand 680 crores.

Meanwhile, railway lines and stations are covered under the Railway Line Rehabilitation and Construction Project including Signaling for Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant.
