On January 10, TCB will provide sugar at 60 taka and soybean oil at 110 taka

Government agency Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) will sell bottled soybean oil at Tk 110 per liter and sugar at Tk 55 per kg. Besides, the government agency will also sell lentils at a subsidized price of Tk 65 per kg.

TCB informed this information in a press release signed by the responsible information officer Humayun Kabir. In this, these products will be sold at subsidized prices to one crore family card holders across the country.

The ongoing monthly sales program will begin on January 10 across the country, including metro cities, through TCB to provide oil, sugar and pulses at subsidized prices. Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Tapan Kanti Ghosh will inaugurate this program of TCB in front of the raw market of AGB Colony adjacent to Motijheel Ideal School and College of the capital at 10 am.
Family card holders can buy 1 kg of sugar at Tk 55, 2 kg of lentils at Tk 65 and 2 liters of soybean oil at Tk 110 per liter. TCB sells onions along with these products. However, the company will not sell onions this month.
