No more elections under caretaker government in country: Agriculture Minister
Minister of Agriculture Dr. Abdur Razzak said, "No country in the world has an election under a caretaker government, and it will not happen in Bangladesh."
He said this while participating in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Shaheed Smriti High School at Madhupur in Tangail on Saturday (January 7) in response to questions from reporters.
The Agriculture Minister said, 'According to the constitution, the election will be held on time. It is clearly written in the constitution that elections will be held under the government that is in power. If BNP or anyone does not come to the election, it does not matter.'
Regarding BNP's agitation on the election issue, he said, 'BNP could not be successful even after 14 years of agitation, it will not be successful in the future either. If terror is launched in the name of BNP movement like before, it will be suppressed with strict hands.

Alhaj Noor Rahman, the founder and president of the school presided over the golden jubilee ceremony, among others, Deputy Commissioner of Tangail Jasim Uddin Haider, Additional Superintendent of Police Md. Sharfuddin, Madhupur Upazila Executive Officer Shamima Yasmin, Upazila Chairman Charwar Alam Khan Abu etc.
