World Bank Managing Director Trotsenberg is coming to Dhaka on Saturday

World Bank Managing Director (Operations) Axel von Trotsenberg is coming to Dhaka tomorrow Saturday (January 21) on a three-day visit. This is his first official visit to Bangladesh. This information was made in a message notification of the World Bank on Friday (January 20).

According to the notification, during his stay in Bangladesh, Axel von Trotsenberg will attend an event organized in Dhaka on January 22 to mark the 50th anniversary of the relationship between Bangladesh and the World Bank Group.

According to a World Bank release, Axel von Trotsenberg will meet with the Prime Minister, Finance Minister and other senior government officials, civil society representatives and development partners.

Apart from this, he will visit various projects supported by the World Bank. He will be accompanied by World Bank Vice President for South Asia Martin Reiser.
