Amid the ongoing tension over the detection and destruction of a Chinese spy balloon, a 'mysterious object' has been spotted in Canada's skies. It was later destroyed by warplanes.
The BBC reported that the object had "violated the airspace" of the country. It was shot down in the Yukon Territory of northwestern Canada.
Trudeau said Canadian and US aircraft were rushing to find the object, which was destroyed by a US F-22 fighter jet.
Canada and the United States
Canada and the United States send fighter jets to destroy the mysterious object. It was discovered by the joint efforts of the two countries. A US fighter jet later destroyed the object, an F-22. A third object has been destroyed in North American skies. But where it came from is still unknown. Last week, the United States destroyed three objects in North American airspace.
