'Mysterious object' in Canadian skies, shot down by warplanes

Amid the ongoing tension over the detection and destruction of a Chinese spy balloon, a 'mysterious object' has been spotted in Canada's skies. It was later destroyed by warplanes.

The BBC reported that the object had "violated the airspace" of the country. It was shot down in the Yukon Territory of northwestern Canada.

Trudeau said Canadian and US aircraft were rushing to find the object, which was destroyed by a US F-22 fighter jet.
