Hamza Anjum said the vehicle was traveling from Quetta to Karachi with about 48 passengers.
He said that the injured were brought out from the wreckage of the bus. After the rescue operation, the injured were sent to Lasbella Civil Hospital for treatment and the bodies of the dead were sent to the morgue.
According to the World Health Organization, more than 27,000 people were killed on Pakistan's roads in 2018.
