He said that BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir came home last night on the doctor's advice after the body examination. He is very healthy. Earlier, Mirza Fakhrul was admitted to Evercare Hospital at Bashundhara in the capital last Sunday at 10:30 am. Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir was released on bail on the evening of January 9 after serving 32 days of imprisonment in the case of sabotage in Nayapaltan. Mirza Abbas, a member of the party's standing committee, was also relieved.

First of all, on January 3, Justice Md. Salim and Justice Md. A High Court bench comprising Riaz Uddin Khan granted six months bail to Mirza Fakhrul-Abbas.
On the morning of the next day, January 4, when the state side applied for suspension of bail, the Chamber Judge of the Appellate Division, Jahangir Hossain Salim, granted the appeal and sent it to the regular bench for hearing.

Until then, the bail of Mirza Fakhrul and Abbas could not be filed, the chamber judge said.
After this, on January 8, a four-judge bench led by Chief Justice Hasan Faiz Siddiqui ordered the two leaders to uphold the bail granted by the High Court.
After the clash of BNP with the police in Nayapaltan of the capital on December 7, Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Mirza Abbas were taken away from their residence by the DB police in plain clothes around 3:30 pm on December 8.
