Leaders and activists of A.League are always on the side of people: Prime Minister
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, as long as the Awami League is in power, it will do whatever it takes to alleviate the suffering of the people. The Awami League government is always on the side of the people. We are committed to the socio-economic development of the people of Bengal. We will do what needs to be done. Not only the government, the leaders and workers of Awami League are always on the side of the people.
He said these things in the president's speech at the 1st joint meeting of the newly formed National Council, Central Executive Committee and Advisory Council of Awami League at Tungipara Thana Awami League office in Gopalganj on Saturday (January 7) afternoon.
The Prime Minister said that people are developing at the village level. We are providing accommodation for all. No human will be homeless in the golden Bengal of the Father of the Nation's dream. Despite the global economic crisis, we have taken steps to ensure that the people of our country do not suffer.

Later, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina inaugurated 28 development projects of Gopalganj, Kotalipara and Tungipara police stations, including the Bangabandhu Memorial Boat Landing Ramp, Muktijoddha Complex building on the Madhumati River, where Bangabandhu's memory is intertwined. In the evening he will leave for Dhaka by road from Tungipara.
