JSC-JDC exam is closing
This was confirmed in a circular signed by Akter Unnecha Shiuli, Deputy Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education on Monday (January 16).
As per the National Curriculum Outline 2021, it has been decided to stop the JSC and JDC exams as there is no system for conducting public/board exams. 2023 and onwards, the recommendation to scrap the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations was sent to the Prime Minister and approved.
According to the notification, as per National Curriculum Framework 2021, JSC and JDC Public/Board Examinations are not arranged, therefore, consideration may be given to omitting the Junior School Certificate (JSC) and Junior Dakhil Certificate (JDC) examinations in 2022 and 2023 and thereafter. The Prime Minister approved the above proposal.
It is also mentioned that in the said situation, instructions are requested to take further necessary action in the said matter.
