On Sunday (December 25), leaders and activists of various fraternal organizations, including Awami League, greeted Rashtriya Party president Sheikh Hasina at Ganobhaban. Central leaders of Awami League as well as Trinamool leaders were also present at Ganobhaban to greet Sheikh Hasina.
Awami League President Sheikh Hasina, asking for prayers from the leaders and activists for ten consecutive times, said, 'Pray. You have chosen again. So many times I think it is not right to be in charge of a party. Even now, as I may not have agreed to a world-wide calamity, I am old enough to remember it. But the system should be done so that the organization remains accurate and continues.

Earlier, the 22nd National Conference of Awami League on Saturday (December 24) elected the team's new Executive Council. Most of the members, including party president Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and common secretary Obaidul Quader, were re-elected in the new executive parliament.
