BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir said that it is not possible to solve the problems of this country without the fall of the government. Because they have become so corrupt they are running false propaganda that they are trying to keep the economy running by ending the banks. To get rid of this dire national crisis, everyone should build national unity regardless of caste, religion and caste to remove the government.

Mirza Fakhrul said that all problems including the current economic crisis will be solved only when Awami League leaves. And whether or not Begum Khaleda Zia will do politics depends on whether the government will release her or not.

Earlier in the morning, after paying respects at the tomb of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman at Chandrima Udyan in the capital, the Secretary General said that the party will think about Begum Zia's return to politics only if she is completely free.

In response to a question from journalists, he further said, "We absolutely want the release of national leader Khaleda Zia."

Regarding Adani's electricity deal with Bangladesh, BNP Secretary General said, 'This is an agreement with Adani Group regarding electricity. All domestic and foreign analysts are saying that it is an unnecessary and unequal agreement. Where Bangladesh will only pay money, will not get any benefit.

He said these things at a press conference organized at the political office of BNP Chairperson in Gulshan on Tuesday (February 28) afternoon.

BNP Secretary General said, if they were elected by people's vote, they should have been accountable. They always spread false propaganda, create fear and pressure and control the media. They want to mislead people. But its victims are the people.

In response to a question from journalists about BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's politics, Mirza Fakhrul said, "Our demand is her (Khaleda Zia's) release." His release is our greatest need. Returning to politics also depends on liberation.
