In Mymensingh, a passenger microbus lost control and fell into a ditch and exploded: 4 killed
An explosion occurred when a passenger microbus lost control and fell into a ditch in Mymensingh's Trishal upazila. Four people including two women were killed. 7 more people were injured in this incident.
The accident took place at Rangamatia area of Dhaka-Mymensingh highway around 2 am on Monday (March 13).
Confirming the matter, an officer in charge from the control room of Mymensingh Fire Service said that the gas cylinder exploded after the passenger microbus fell into the ditch in Rangamatia. Four people including two women were killed when it caught fire. Some people were injured in this incident.
He said that after receiving the news of the accident, the members of the fire service went to the spot and recovered the bodies of four people. Later it was handed over to the police.
The injured have been sent to local hospitals and Mymensingh Medical College Hospital.
