Health Minister Zahid Malek said that he wants to provide practice facilities at the workplace of doctors. He said that they should get the facility to practice in the institution where the doctor is working, so that they do not have to go to different clinics or chambers to practice outside.

He said, 'I want to start institutional practice from March 1. As a pilot project, 50 upazilas, 20 districts and five medical centers will be covered. Patients will get more treatment in this.'
He said these things in the briefing on the urgent matters of the health sector in the meeting room of the Ministry of Health on Sunday (January 22).
He said, where will the doctors sit, how much will their fees be and who will see which patients, for how long; We talked about everything. A team has been formed in this regard. We are hoping that we can start institutional practice from March, the month of our independence.
We will gradually start implementing the pilot project in this regard. It's not at all small. There will be fifty upazilas, 20 districts and five medical colleges. We are going to start the journey with this.
Through this, the people will get better health care, the health minister said, going to the hospital, they will get a doctor. Those who are admitted will also get treatment. Many doctors can be found at once. There will also be arrangements for testing.
Zahid Malek said, this service will be available less than the cost of seeing a doctor outside. This is our initiative. We want the cooperation of journalists in this regard.
Stating that the government is constantly trying to improve the health care of the country, Zahid Malek also said, 'Eye cornea and kidney transplants have been successfully completed at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. We thank everyone there. A few days ago they also did a liver transplant, which is a milestone. People go abroad for these treatments.'
Also, if someone can donate a kidney after death, it can save the lives of others. Bangladesh has not yet practiced that. If so, many people's lives will be saved.
