A fire broke out in a textile mill in Shyampur of the capital. Five fire service units are working to control the fire.
Khaleda Yasmin, the duty officer of the fire service, confirmed that the fire service received information about the fire at 11:24 on Tuesday (February 7).
This has been confirmed by the fire service authorities.

The fire took place on the ground floor of the four-storey building of Pakija Textiles in Shyampur. Five units of fire service went to the spot and tried to control the fire after receiving information about the fire at 11:24. The fire was not brought under control till 12 noon. No casualty has been reported in this incident so far.
However, the duty officer of the fire service headquarters could not immediately tell anything about the cause of the fire or the amount of damage.
