Eye treatment should also be given importance: Prime Minister

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that we are inaugurating eye vision centers, but we must give importance to eye treatment along with other services. Because as a result of our initiative, many blind people have now regained their sight.

The Prime Minister said this at the inauguration of the Community Vision program in 45 more police stations of the state on Wednesday, January 18 around 11:00 am. The Prime Minister inaugurated the program from a virtual presence at the National Institute of Ophthalmology. Earlier this program was inaugurated in 70 such police stations.

Through this, patients can get services for all kinds of eye problems in the hospitals in the upazilas. The Prime Minister said, we have inaugurated this program in 70 police stations before and recently in 45 police stations. We have developed the roads so that people can come to the hospital easily.
