Chasik's Tk 2500 crore project was beaten up by the project manager

An allegation has been made against the contractors of Chittagong City Corporation (CHSIC) that they entered the project director's office and beat up the project director after not getting work in the project worth Tk 2500 crore.

A group of contractors attacked the director of a development project in Chittagong City Corporation (CHSIC) office.

The incident took place at the temporary office of Chasik at Tigerpass in the city on Sunday around 4 pm. The Chasik officials alleged that the contractors attacked the project director Golam Yazdani for not giving work.

• The incident took place in the office of Project Director Golam Yazdani on the fourth floor of Tigerpass temporary office in the city on the afternoon of January 29 (Sunday). Agitated contractors are said to have broken the project manager's table and nameplate.
  According to City Corporation sources, after the general meeting in the old city building of Andarkilla, Project Director Md. Ghulam Yazdani. At that time, about 20-25 contractors entered his room without permission and at the point of speaking, the contractors attacked the project manager. At that time, the contractors kept punching the project manager. Tilak Dey, an office assistant, went to his rescue and was also beaten up.

Chasik Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury confirmed the attack and said, "Those who want to get work unfairly have carried out this attack."
