Student commits suicide after not being able to fill the form in Bagerhatv

A class 10 student named Sujan Shikder (16) committed suicide at Mollahat in Bagerhat. The incident took place in the Garfa village of the upazila on Sunday morning.

Sujan Shikder is the elder son of Mithu Shikder of Garfa village. He is a 10th class science student of Government Wazed Memorial Model Secondary School, Mollahat.

The deceased is Mithu Shikder

• The father of the deceased Mithu Shikder said, "My son was supposed to take the SSC exam this year. But he was not allowed to fill the form because he was rude to the school teachers. He committed suicide because he could not fill the form.

Mollahat Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Somen Dash said, we recovered the body and sent it to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital morgue for post-mortem. The family said that he committed suicide out of frustration of not being able to fill the form for the SSC examination. A case of death has been registered at Mollahat police station in the initial stage.
