Independent candidate Ashraful Alam alias Hero Alam has rejected the results of Bogra 4 and 6 by-elections alleging irregularities in the counting of votes
Independent candidate Ashraful Alam alias Hero Alam has rejected the results of Bogra 4 and 6 by-elections alleging irregularities in the counting of votes. He said, 'I saw the atmosphere of the vote fair. But the result is a mess in place; The results of the vote changed. I will go to court.'
Hero Alam made these allegations in a press conference at his home in Erulia, Sadar on Wednesday (February 1) at around 10:30 pm after the defeat in the two seats of Bogra.
Hero Alam
- Hero Alam complained, everyone said I passed. Voters also voted. Where did I vote so much? Before the announcement of the results, the Awami League people were saying that Mashal has won, now only the official announcement is left. Awami League people also voted for me. Voted me for love, not party. Where did the votes go? I do not accept this result.
He said that he has not yet given a written or verbal complaint about the irregularities. But will go to court against the result. The administration has given the results of 10 centers together instead of giving them separately. I was not told how many votes I got in these centres.
Some educated people don't want to accept me. They think that if I pass, the honor of the country will go, the honor of many people will go. Shame on the officers to be addressed as Hero Alamek sir. I was not allowed to win.
Hero Alam said, "There is no question of me getting 28 votes if the Mashal Marka of the Grand Alliance gets 500 votes in a center." I was a bit apprehensive in the city. This is why I am holding a press conference at home.
Hero Alam lost to Mashal Prateek by a margin of 834 votes in Bogra-4 seat. However, he got 5 thousand 274 votes in Bogra-6 seat.
