Announcement of stricter action against dishonest traders

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has announced to take stricter measures against dishonest traders.

He said this in response to a supplementary question by Member of Parliament Dhirendra Debnath Shambhu during the Prime Minister's question and answer session in the National Parliament on Wednesday (January 11).

The Prime Minister said that we are taking appropriate action against those who do double digits with hoarding, black market and LC opening and will continue to do so. We will take more stringent measures if necessary. We will pay special attention to ensure that people do not suffer.
