Turkaslan's death was confirmed by his club Yeni Malatyaspor. Malatyaspor club wrote on their official Twitter account yesterday, 'Our goalkeeper Ahmet Yup Turkaslan died after being buried under the rubble of the earthquake. Be in peace. We will never forget a good person like you.'

Only in Turkey the number of dead is 5 thousand 894, on the other hand in Syria 1 thousand 932 people. It is also feared that the death toll may increase greatly.
