Dense fog disrupts flights in Shahjalal
Air flights are suspended at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport due to dense fog. The visibility of the runway area of the airport has dropped to 100 meters since 3.30 pm on Sunday, so flights are suspended. The aircraft takes off when the visual range is usually 600 to 800 meters on the runway.

Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Senior Air Traffic Officer SM Ohidur Rahman said at around 8:00 AM on Monday, the Jeddah flight of Saudi Airlines left Shahjalal Airport at 3:11 PM on Sunday.
After that no flight could take off due to fog. Later, Biman flight BG087 from Kuala Lumpur was coming to Dhaka, but it landed in Kolkata due to fog.
