Khaleda Zia's movements were suspicious: Hanif
Awami League Joint General Secretary Mahbub ul Alam Hanif said that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's movements were suspicious on the day of the killing of army officers in BDR rebellion in Pilkhana in 2009.
He made this comment in front of the journalists after paying tribute to the martyrs at Banani Military Cemetery this (Saturday) morning.
He said, Begum Khaleda Zia usually does not wake up in the morning. But that morning, he woke up and went somewhere in the car for two days. Tariq Rahman called her several times from London, talked to her.
Hanif said that the final verdict in the case of the killing of an army officer in the BDR rebellion in Pilkhana in 2009 is awaiting execution. I will be able to implement this final judgment within this year. This is our expectation.
Awami League does not like the government and does not want to see it. Hanif commented that this incident has taken place as part of their conspiracy. Otherwise, such an incident has taken place with the aim of overthrowing or hurting the government after only 50 days of the formation of the new government.
