BUET students at the DB office to see evidence of Fardeen's unusual death
A group of students came to the office of the organization on Minto Road in the capital to see the 'proof' of the statement given by the Intelligence Branch (DB)
A group of students came to the office of the organization on Minto Road in the capital to see the 'proof' of the statement given by the Intelligence Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police that Fardin Noor, a student of Bangladesh Prokaishal University (BUET), had committed suicide. Before arriving here, the BUET students suspended the pre-announced protest meeting in response to DB's statement on Fardin 'killing' around 10:30 am.
After investigating the unusual death of Fardin on Wednesday, the DB said that the student of Buet committed suicide. To respond to this, a group of BUET students called a protest rally at BUET Shaheed Minar today at 10 am.
However, they suspended the program for the time being to go to the DB office to see the signs. A delegation of BUET students entered the DB office around 11:30 am.
Mashiyat Jahin, a student of the civil engineering department of BUET, who was in that delegation, told 1st Alo, "The officials of the DB office contacted us yesterday Wednesday night. They want to show us evidence to support the findings of their investigation.
Therefore, we have come to the DB office by announcing the temporary closure of the pre-announced program. We will inform you later after going through the DB files and evidences.''
